ISC CdM | International Science Conference – Campus do Mar

Campus do Mar ISC’18 organised by Campus do Mar will take place the days 2oth, 21st and 22nd of June 2018. This event offers a valuable forum to present and debate the latest advances in marine research, technology and management, as well as a great opportunity for the DO*MAR PhD program students and other young researchers to present their achievements in research, discuss them with high level scientists and get to publish in international scientific journals.

The CdM ISC’18 has been organised according to the four main research areas driven by the Campus do Mar International Excellence Campus:

  • Observation of the ocean and the global change (physical, biological, chemical and geological processes that sustain the biogeochemical cycles, and affect the trophic nets and biodiversity).
  • Sustainable use of the marine resources (including aspects as evaluation, transformation and valuation of the biological resources, including aquaculture).
  • Integrated Management of the Sea (dealing with the environmental evaluation of the coastal zones, protected marine areas, coastal protection and maritime security)
  • The Progress in Technology, Engineering and Business Management (including port infrastructures, management and maritime transport, energy, law and competitiveness).
